Eidos Montreal Faces Major Layoffs as Leadership Changes and Project Shifts Emerge
Eidos Montreal, the renowned developer behind titles such as Deus Ex and the upcoming Legacy of Kain project, has announced significant layoffs affecting 124 employees. This decision stems from “changing project needs and impacts across productions and support teams,” as stated by the studio on its LinkedIn page. The studio’s head, David Anfossi, has also departed after nearly two decades with the company, where he played a pivotal role as a producer on the acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution and held the head of studio position since 2013.
